Aliph Jawbone

Aliph JawboneAliph jawbone is the most innovative wired headset for cellphones. It is basically aimed to work in extreme noisy conditions. This concept has been inherited from military where it is required to remove the noise of surrounding from the speaker's voice.

Features

Aliph jawbone looks as a sleek and elegant handsfree. It captures sound through the vibrations from the jawbone instead from the mouth. Its sensors touch the part of cheek near ear i.e. the starting of jawbone. This is not all; Aliph jawbone applies noise reduction algorithms over the captured sounds. It also samples the sound and uses it for noise reduction. The accessory also uses power either from it's own or cellphone's battery. It reduces on 15% of cellphone's battery life in exchange of providing a great functionality.
Apart from theory, Aliph jawbone has a great performance in practice. It dramatically removes the noise e.g. it was tested at crowdy places with high noise and the listener always got the clear speaker's voice.

Price, Innovation and Conclusion

Aliph jawbone's price is set to 150$. You can now understand that its not something really innovative. Aliph has further programs to make it compatible for other companies. Currently only Nokia, sonyericsson and motorola are supported. They are also planning to make a bluetooth wireless version. Aliph jawbone is not only useful in noisy places; it could be used to perfect voice dialing, to detect when user is speaking which could release the load over CDMA networks.
