Sony ericsson adopted Symbian UIQ operating system for their smartphones. Their smartphones are slightly different than Nokia smartphones. The basic difference is that Sony Ericsson is providing big screen (320x240 instead of 176x208) with touchscreen feature. This is also the basic difference between Symbian and Symbian UIQ.
