Sony ericsson P series consists of smartphones that belong to Symbian UIQ. In my opinion, these are the "most wanted" ones from Sony ericsson and are a perfect combination of a PDA and a cellphone. It started with Sony ericsson P800 in 2002, then Sony ericsson P900 and now its Sony ericsson P910i. The new features of sony ericsson p910i are discussed below.

Sony ericsson p910i smartphone is upgraded somewhat in both hardware and software features. The keypad now houses a full QWERTY keyboard from the inside which makes sony ericsson p910i as a first device that handles all input options as touchscreen, 12 key keypad and QWERTY keypad. The color screen is upgraded to 262k from 65k in Sony ericsson P900. On the software side, a collection of new application softwares are pre-installed, known bugs are removed and blackberry support is given to email. In a basic view, the metallic color is changed to give a new, different and elegant look to sony ericsson p910i.
Sony ericsson p910i memory has been increased four times i.e. 64 MB and memory slot is given upgraded support for Memory Stick Duo Pro; which will provide you the extensibility upto 1GB.

Conclusion

Sony ericsson p910i got an upgrade to survive in the market and pass a few quarters. Infact, some people think that a lot of other features that needed improvement were not improved. People that reported the slow processing of the smartphone are still waiting, camera is still VGA and no megapixel qualities are give to it. Now Sony ericsson has to compete with other cellphone PDAs present in the market. The closest one is the IMATE. Sony ericsson P910i price is relatively high right now, but in my opinion, it will easily survive because of the high repute of this series and its design.
