MMV 100.
Functionality
The
Bluetooth Multimedia Viewer MMV 100 plugs directly into a TV or a digital projector thus giving their cell phone users an option to send taken pictures or sounds from their cell phones to the TV. As its based on Bluetooth, so don't worry about any obstacles between your cell phone and the TV set, just be in a circle of 10m radius.
Technical Information
The
MMV-100 supports the following Bluetoothâ„¢ profiles: File Transfer Profile (FTP), Object Push Profile (OPP), and Basic Imaging Profile (BIP). It can be used with the Sony Ericsson phones K700, S700, P900, P800, T630, T610 and T68i (functionality may vary depending on phone). The
MMV-100 connects to a TV or projector through the SCART or via stereo audio/video RCA cable and there will be variants for both PAL and NTSC formats.
MMV 100 is capable of sending sound in mp3, wav and amr formats.
Drawbacks
The
MMV 100 is incapable of sending video clips i.e. video streaming. This feature can be expected in future if this accessory succeded in capturing a part of the community.
