Sendo introduces X2 as a music smartphone at 3GSM conference 2005. It is basically a slimmer, lighter but advanced upgrade of Sendo X with music and multimedia features. Sendo X2 is based on Nokia series 60 platform of smartphones which provide extensibility and compatibility to other applications. Lets get into main features of the smartphone.

Features

Sendo has made every effort to perfect the smartphone as an mp3 player. You can see famousn mp3, AAC, AAC+ format support, memory slot expandable upto 1Gb, built-in 32Mb and dedicated buttons for playback. Coming to the imaging side, you will find a 1.3 megapixel camera and huge 65k color screen, 2.2 inch i.e 176 x 220 pixel standard for series 60 cellphones.
If you look around its size and weight, it is said to be the lightest smartphone i.e. only 95grams and 85cc in volume. As far as connectivity options are concerned, you will observer bluetooth and USB. An important point is that you will not find EDGE support in Sendo X2. This could be considered as the major shortcoming in the smartphone. On the other hand, this could reduce the price of the smartphone.
Another interesting feature is speaker independent voice dialing. This means that voice recognition is already built-in into it so that you wont have to record voice memo for each contact at first. Well this is an adorable feature but one must test its validity that it work correctly in real.

Conclusion

Sendo X2 seems to have all required by a specific group of people. But Sendo dont has much repute as Nokia, Samsung, Sonyericsson and Motorola. Definitely its cost would be far less than similar rival models of other companies. Hence, one can adopt it as a cheap but effective solution. And, if it got a success with no issues then Sendo could complete for bigger market share in future.
