You might have seen discussion regarding PDA phones (PDAs with cell phone feature), Smartphones (Cell phones with PDA features); and now Samsung has started to make people think about Digital Camera phones in its new S250 cell phone. Again it is announced just for the Korean cell phone market like SPH2300 (the one with optical zoom).

Salient Features

Samsung S250 features a 24bit i.e. 16 million color screen which is stunning now where only 65k color screen cell phones are present in the market. The 5 megapixel camera with CCD sensor (sensor for digital cameras) is the first thing to attract you towards this cell phone. Infact there are lot other distinct features in S250 like fast shutter speed, connecting to a TV to view images, mobile banking, 240x 360 screen resolution, mp3 playback, 64MB internal memory and a memory slot. Furthermore, the dimensions are also reasonable i.e. dimensions: 115 x 49.5 x 18.5mm; weight: 116g.

Conclusion

Samsung S250 is only released for Korean market supporting CDMA and will be probably for testing purposes. Its announcement is just to show that extreme work is still under progress and there are no boundries defined to integrate phone, multimedia and business features into one handy device. Its price is expected around 850$ in South Korea.
