To enhance the messaging capabilities of a cell phone, Nokia has released their first wireless keyboard. The total size of this Nokia accessory is somewhat large which helps in typing, but the device is foldable so it can be recommended for portable use. There are some negative points that will also be discussed further in this article.

This is one of the product from Nokia's new style series. Sometimes its hard to call this as an accessory. Its external look focuses on the bright 128x128 4k color display and discreet joystick, surrounded by a black and chrome casing and attached earpiece. Nokia wireless image headset is used to be worn around the neck. Although it is compatible with many blue tooth enabled cell phones by Nokia, but actually this accessory makes sense with Nokia's new model 7280 which is without a keypad.

The Nokia accessory, Video Call Stand enables face-to-face 3G video telephony for Nokia 6630 smartphone owners. It is basically a desk stand with an integrated video camera. During video telephony (when the phone is placed in the Nokia Video Call Stand) you can see your own face on the phone display and also the face of the other person to whom you are talking.

Once Nokia 6630 smartphone is connected to the Video Call Stand, functionality is automatic and you can make and receive video calls. Speak and listen through the phone microphone and loudspeaker or wireless headset enhancement. Zoom in and out on your own image, adjust the volume, mute audio or video, view incoming calls and message notifications.

Nokia is introducing new annovations with its new product (its hard to call it accessory) i.e. Nokia remote camera. Nokia's accessory,  remote camera is combining the technologies such as a digital camera, GSM transceiver, MMS technology and Blue tooth for visual imaging from a distance.

One megapixel camera has a variety of features and is somewhat independent too. One basic thing it needs is a GSM network access through a SIM card that can be placed in it. There is a built-in motion detector in the camera too. The nokia accessory can send video with sound as MMS or email. It can also stream it via bluetooth. It can also take screenshots and send them. Hence it is perfect for security, surveillance. It can also receive SMS based text commands to send video/pictures. And these are not the only features, it can also record temperature and send complete reports about the temperature. Interface software have been also released for series 60 platform smartphones. Furthermore, desktop and ceiling stands are also to be provided with Nokia remote camera.

It could be clearly seen that most of the recent work done by cellular phone companies depict the advancement in multimedia features. It started with integrating simple camera to a cell phone and nowadays, they're trying to make people think that whether the device is a cell phone or a digital camera. As the picture quality of built-in camera cell phones is increasing day by day; you can even see mega-pixel cell phones too, there is a need of flash to make things more close to real. I must say that as far as nokia accessory camera flash is concerned, its still in the begining.
