The product failed before release because of some technical problems in the touchscreen and a non-touchscreen version was released which was just more than a dummy. Nokia is also projecting this OS as an open source OS and will provide its SDK. Nokia 770 consists of rich 800 x 400 pixel 4.4" diagonal touchscreen. The internet tablet has bluetooth and wifi built-in so that it could make use of a nearby bluetooth or wifi connection to surf the internet. There would be 64Mb interla storage with expandable memory slot in the form of RS-MMC. Text input to the gadget is like in Nokia 7710. The OS and interface are totally different from Nokia's other previous series such as 80, 90 etc.
