It could be clearly seen that most of the recent work done by cellular phone companies depict the advancement in multimedia features. It started with integrating simple camera to a cell phone and nowadays, they're trying to make people think that whether the device is a cell phone or a digital camera. As the picture quality of built-in camera cell phones is increasing day by day; you can even see mega-pixel cell phones too, there is a need of flash to make things more close to real. I must say that as far as nokia accessory camera flash is concerned, its still in the begining.

By the end of year 2004, Nokia announced another addition to their series 60 line i.e Nokia 3230. Nokia 3230 is a normal smartphone with all basic features and some innovative form factor. It is said that it has been targetted to masses.

The 110g Nokia 3230 looks different in its external look. The rectangular shape is resumed after Nokia 6630 , Nokia 7610 where round and curved shapes were introduced. Still the shape is appealing towards the logic of fashion phones. In my opinion, the smartphone looks taller than it it because of its form factor. The keypad and rest of the screen look differently designed with different colors which might be the reason for that.
At the time of release, the only impressive feature i found was a movie director application. Now you can create your own movies while adding transitions and effects. It looks like a mini movie editing suite which has been accepted as a big fun these days. Rest of the features include 1.3 MP camera, 32Mb RAM with RS-MMC slot, FM radio etc. The phone will support EDGE and GPRS with all other basic functions these days.
