Nokia 7360 is incorporated with a general purpose MP3 player. Along with the support of MP3 player, the handset also has a FM Radio which the user can use to listen to live music transmission over the air.



There is no jack connector support in the handset which restricts the user to use their headphones.
Instead of just popping a simple MP3 radio in the handset, Nokia should have added some advanced media players like Nokia 3250 has Real player to facilitate the users by supporting diverse file formats. Also the supported file formats are also quite limited. In order to attract the music fans, Nokia should have provided the support of different file formats in Nokia 7360.

The purpose of Nokia 7380 was not to focus the business lovers or internet lovers but still the handset provides support for browsing and can serve the needs of these users to some extent.


Nokia 7380 supports a WAP 2.0, xHTML, and HTML multimode browser to facilitate the internet browsing.

Nokia 7380 supports two-way text messages along with concatenated SMS support, picture messaging and SMS to a distribution list often called multi-recipient messaging. Nokia 7380 also supports instant messaging to other handsets or computers (Web-Chat) and Nokia Xpress audio messaging as well. By the way, with the help of Nokia Xpress audio messaging, you can record your personalized messages (voices) and can send to other compatible devices.

Battery Life

Nokia 7380 is equipped with Standard Battery BL-8N 700 mAh batteries that used to give about 180 minutes of GSM talk time and can be active in stand by mode for about 240 hours (more than 10 days) in a single battery charging.



Talking of the battery talk time, the battery is somewhat good than the battery of Motorola E770 by providing 10 minutes more talk time in a single charge, but the battery is as poor as Nokia 3250 giving the same talk time. I think that most of the batteries are giving over 200 and 300 minutes of talk time, consider Motorola Razr V3x that gives 300 minutes of talk time and even Nokia’s brands Nokia E-60 and Nokia E-61 used to give about 400 hours. The battery in Nokia 7380 can never challenge the batteries of Sony Ericsson’s brands which used to give about 3 times more time, e.g. Sony Ericsson P990.

Multimedia Facilities

Nokia E-70 has a general purpose music player. The music player is able eto support MP3 files and AAC file formats.



It is quite amazing for me that such a great smart phone is lacking in the multimedia features. These days, handsets used to contain some advance media players, although the normal MP3 player serve the purpose but having other media players would have increased the charm of listening to the different format music files just like Nokia 3250 has Real player to facilitate the users by supporting diverse file formats. Also the file formats are quite limited, so Motorola was having the option to embed advance music player and support diverse music formats.
