OGO Messaging Device
OGO Messaging Device The Ogo from AT&T Wireless is the wireless messaging device to provide unlimited IM, email, and text messaging. It is important to know that OGO does not provide voice. Hence, its just a messaging device and not falls under the category of cell phones. OGO is basically targetted at the youth who can't miss and IM conversation in any part of day or night and nothing else.

Features

OGO is given a flip structure with large 4k screen and a complete QWERTY keyboard. Shortcut keys are also there in it. Size and wesight is compact enough i.e. 11.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm (closed) and 4.8 ounces. OGO supports Yahoo, AOL, MSN. It also supports text and email. OGO utilized the GSM/GPRS network and is specific for AT&T. Its may be a negative point to say that OGO is very specific in nature and does nothing more than that. Including voice, web browsing features are also not available.

Conclusion

Currently AT&T will charge you 99$ for OGO, excluding 30$ mail-in rebate. Monthly charges are 18$ for one acount from each IM client supported. In my opinion, 18$ a month for unlimited IM is fair enough but this product is very specific in nature and is only available with AT&T. It is said that there are 55 million IM users in USA, hence there is a possibility that it gets hit by masses.
