Wireless Image Headset
Nokia accessory wireless image headsetThis is one of the product from Nokia's new style series. Sometimes its hard to call this as an accessory. Its external look focuses on the bright 128x128 4k color display and discreet joystick, surrounded by a black and chrome casing and attached earpiece. Nokia wireless image headset is used to be worn around the neck. Although it is compatible with many blue tooth enabled cell phones by Nokia, but actually this accessory makes sense with Nokia's new model 7280 which is without a keypad.

Features

The image headset synchronises its own memory's phone book with your cell phone's phonebook via bluetooth. Images can be viewed and transferred with a compatible bluetooth device. Calls can be initiated and even there is a possibility to voice dial.
Another important feature included is the "speaker independent voice dialing". The Nokia Wireless Image Headset automatically creates a voice tag of all the names stored in your headset's phonebook. These tags can be used to make voice calls by more than one speaker (that's why it's called "speaker-independent").
There can be up to ten different users for one Nokia Wireless Image Headset, with only one user having an active connection at the time. By resetting the pairing information from the headset according to the instructions provided in the user guide, up to ten new users can be paired to the headset.

Conclusion

This is a fresh and stylish point of view; that with the Nokia Wireless Image Headset accessory, you can leave the cell phone in your pocket or bag and the headset connects using Blue tooth wireless technology. Some features can be said to be missing in this Nokia accessory like playing FM radio, mp3s, call using phone's voice tags etc. But there is lot more to come in this area if this concept got a hit in the market. The accessory is yet to be released in Q4 of year 2004
