Nokia accessory Remote CameraNokia is introducing new annovations with its new product (its hard to call it accessory) i.e. Nokia remote camera. Nokia's accessory,  remote camera is combining the technologies such as a digital camera, GSM transceiver, MMS technology and Blue tooth for visual imaging from a distance.

Features

One megapixel camera has a variety of features and is somewhat independent too. One basic thing it needs is a GSM network access through a SIM card that can be placed in it. There is a built-in motion detector in the camera too. The nokia accessory can send video with sound as MMS or email. It can also stream it via bluetooth. It can also take screenshots and send them. Hence it is perfect for security, surveillance. It can also receive SMS based text commands to send video/pictures. And these are not the only features, it can also record temperature and send complete reports about the temperature. Interface software have been also released for series 60 platform smartphones. Furthermore, desktop and ceiling stands are also to be provided with Nokia remote camera.

Conclusion

The price of nokia's accessory, Remote Camera  is expected to be around 450 Euro in the European market. Nokia remote camera is providing functionality which was imagined but not implemented before and it is fulfiling a unique purpose differently.
