Multi Connectivity
Nokia E-70 supports multiple connections for data transfer. Multiple applications can share WLAN connection at the same time like email, browser etc. On the other hand the handset allows using WLAN, Bluetooth, USB and Infrared at the same time without any interception from any connection party. For Bluetooth, the handset supports 6 connections at a time. So Nokia E-70 is successful in providing multi connection usage of the handset, which makes it more robust.

Nokia E-70 supports a WAP 2.0, xHTML, and HTML multimode browser to facilitate the internet browsing. Talking about WAP, the handset is able to support HTTP 1.1, xHTML, Mobile Profile, WCSS, Cookies, TLS 1.0/SSL 3.0.

For Wireless internet: It supports Wireless LAN 802.11g, 802.11e and 802.11i for wireless connections.
Office Organizer
The handset has the functionality to synchronize different items with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes like contacts with images, calendar with accept and reject meeting requests, to-do lists and other applications. This is a great feature and is quite useful for business persons. So the handset allows one to organize all of his office stuff.
Messaging Support
Nokia E-70 supports two way text messaging and sending SMS messages to multiple users, often called SMS to distribution list. The handset also allows sending concatenated SMS, where you can send and receive up to 30 messages in a row as a single message.
Nokia E-70 is also capable of sending and receiving multimedia messages. The handset supports MMS OMA 1.2 where you can integrate different items with a message like text, video clips, image and audio clips. Attachment Support
Nokia E-70 has the ability to support different and most commonly used document formats e.g. a business man can check out his emails that contains any of the Microsoft word, Microsoft Power point or Microsoft Excel attachments. Nokia E-70 does provide the support for different suites of Microsoft Offices e.g. Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003 as well.
Nokia E-70 does contain the Adobe Acrobat Reader so the user can read the Adobe files, whether they are in the emails as attachments or in the handset as some document.
