Motorola picked up its growing strength from the V series quite nice and decided to extend it. After successful tenure of aMotorola RAZR V3, Motorola has released V6 PEBL and Motorola V8 SLVR. Motorola V8 SLVR also gives a new and ultra slimmer look like Motorola RAZR V3 but in different dimension.

Features

This time, Motorola worked on candy bar form factor instead of a clamshell form factor. Its dimensions is quite impressive i.e. 114 x 49 x 11 mm with 86 grams of weight. Motorola SLVR V8 is even more lighter and thinner than Motorola RAZR V3. On the other side, you will also notice a smaller but admirable screen i.e. 176 x 220 pixels. An important inclusion is the trans flash slot. Trans flash memory cards are getting very popular these days because of their small size and high speed. The feature set is almost similar to other members of the V series. You will see all latest features in Motorola SLVR such as bluetooth, PIM, EDGE, Push To Talk etc. The camera is of normal VGA resolution instead of a megapixel one. But can be acceptable with its slim body.

Conclusion

Motorola V8 SLVR slim design is its strength. In my opinion, the Motorola V series got huge acceptance from market, But, while making the phone slim, it has become slightly wider than others. Most of the people ignore or didnt notice this fact and stay amused with ultra slimness.
