Motorola has been in the market from the early ages. It is said that the major market of Motorola cell phones lies in USA and Europe but still its Motorola phones are distributed all around the world. Motorola phones are relatively cheap in price as compared to other company's cell phones with same features. Unfortunately, I wont found people who liked the whole brand Motorola as people love Nokia, SonyEricsson or Samsung. But I found people who admired different cell phones from Motorola. people who found negative points in Motorola said that they were not impressed by the shape of Motorola cell phones. Such as most of them come with an external antenna or otherwise the shape is not streamlined. Regarding menu navigation and handling, motorola cell phones are not as fast as Nokia but they are not as slow as SonyEricsson.
Scenario is changing with time. Motorola is said to be ranked as number two among cell phone companies after Nokia. Since a couple of years, Motorola has produced competitive UMTS phones, music phones, PDA phones etc. In other words, Motorola has overcome many descripencies discussed above.
